These are great places to learn and build long lasting skills and networks.

I’ve included roles here that I think can give you a way to step into product over time. I am a firm believer that product folks should build other functional experiences [operations, engineering, design, sales] because that gives you an edge.

It’s about accelerating your learning, and a product path isn’t always a straight path so don’t hesitate to go after those roles.

      How can this role be a product role? Think of this as a transition role to get into product operations. This is a great way to learn the business, be part of a growing company and if you have similar experience then you should absolutely leverage it. You can always move to another role once you've done this role well.
